Euphoria Smoothies Opens in Downtown Toronto

New Northern Ontario Smoothie chain has big growth plans in Southern Ontario.
North Bay, ON (PRWEB) August 13, 2008 — Booster Juice and Jugo Juice are about to get a lot more competition in the GTA as Euphoria Smoothies opens its first store in Downtown Toronto located at 391 Front Street West.
Euphoria Smoothies, a similar quick-service concept, wants to put the squeeze on its competition, with 80 stores planned for Ontario in the next 8 years.
That’s the commitment of Richard Belanger, Euphoria’s Director of Sales and Licensing. The chain has stores in Barrie North (by Licensee Rachelle Reckzin), Barrie South (by Licensee Barry Forman) and over 20 stores in Northern Ontario and Western Canada. Euphoria also has a small international presence, with stores in the USA, the UK, UAE and a development agreement in Kuwait.
“We’re certainly putting a lot of resources behind developing the Toronto market, which is very important on a national scale,” said Belanger.
At Euphoria Smoothies, where the average ticket is $8.87, said Belanger, customers can get fruit smoothies, power smoothies, bubble teas, lattes, tart frozen yogurt and gourmet soft stuffed pretzels.
“We focus on very high flavor profiles,” said Belanger, “with high standards of quality, superior value, & product excellence.”
The average investment for licensees is $85,000, he said, for stores of 800 to 1,200 square feet with no franchise royalty fees or monthly co-op advertising fees. Euphoria licensees own 100% of their store revenues.
